Job 21:14-15

14They say to God, aDepart from us!
We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.
15 bWhat is the Almighty, that we should serve him?
And what cprofit do we get if we pray to him?’

Job 27:9-10

when distress comes upon him?
10Will he etake delight in the Almighty?

13for my people have committed two evils:
nthey have forsaken ome,
the fountain of pliving waters,
and hewed out cisterns for themselves,
broken cisterns that can hold no water.

Jeremiah 2:31-32

31And you, O generation, behold the word of the Lord.
Have I been a wilderness to Israel,
or a land of thick darkness?
Why then do my people say, ‘We are free,
we will come no more to you’?
32 qCan a virgin forget her ornaments,
or a bride her attire?
Yet rmy people have forgotten me
days without number.

Micah 6:3

3 “O my people, swhat have I done to you?
tHow have I wearied you? Answer me!

Malachi 1:13

13But you say, uWhat a weariness this is,’ and you snort at it, says the Lord of hosts. vYou bring what has been taken by violence or is lame or sick, and this you bring as your offering! Shall I accept that from your hand? says the Lord.
