Job 21:21

21For what do they care for their houses after them,
when athe number of their months is cut off?

Job 27:14-17

14If his bchildren are multiplied, it is for cthe sword,
and his descendants have not enough bread.
15Those who survive him the pestilence buries,
and his dwidows do not weep.
16Though he eheap up silver like dust,
and pile up clothing like clay,
17he may pile it up, but the righteous will wear it,
and fthe innocent will divide the silver.

Psalms 39:6

6Surely a man ggoes about as a shadow!
Surely for nothing
Hebrew  Surely as a breath
they are in turmoil;
man iheaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!

Luke 16:27-28

27And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, to send him to my father’s house 28for I have five brothers
Or  brothers and sisters
—so that he may warn them, lest they also come into this place of torment.’
