Job 22:2-3

2 a“Can a man be profitable to God?
Surely he who is wise is profitable to himself.
3Is it any pleasure to the Almighty if you are in the right,
or is it gain to him if you bmake your ways blameless?

Job 22:21

21 cAgree with God, and dbe at peace;
thereby good will come to you.

2 Peter 3:3-4

16as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. rThere are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, sas they do the other Scriptures.
