The Value of Wisdom

1 cMy son, dif you receive my words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
2making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
3yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice efor understanding,
4if you seek it like fsilver
and search for it as for ghidden treasures,
5then hyou will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.

The Greek word anthropoi can refer to both men and women
but as what it really is, the word of God, zwhich is at work in you believers.
