Job 23:3-7

3Oh, athat I knew where I might find him,
that I might come even to his bseat!
4I would clay my case before him
and fill my mouth with arguments.
5I would know what he would answer me
and understand what he would say to me.
6Would he dcontend with me in the greatness of his power?
No; he would pay attention to me.
7There an upright man could argue with him,
and I would be acquitted forever by my judge.

Job 33:6-18

6Behold, I am toward God as you are;
I too was pinched off from a piece of gclay.
7Behold, no hfear of me need terrify you;
my ipressure will not be heavy upon you.
8 Surely you have spoken in my ears,
and I have heard the sound of your words.
9You say, ‘I am jpure, without ktransgression;
I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10Behold, he finds occasions against me,
he lcounts me as his enemy,
11he mputs my feet in the stocks
and nwatches all my paths.’
12 Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,
for God is greater than man.
13Why do you ocontend against him,
saying, ‘He pwill answer none of man’s
Hebrew his
words’?
Or  He will not answer for any of his own words

14For God sspeaks in one way,
tand in two, though man udoes not perceive it.
15In va dream, in wa vision of xthe night,
when ydeep sleep falls on men,
while they slumber on their beds,
16then he zopens the ears of men
and terrifies them with warnings,
17that he may turn man aside from his aadeed
and conceal pride from a man;
18he keeps back his soul from the pit,
his life from abperishing by the sword.
