Job 24:13-16

13 “There are those who rebel aagainst the light,
who are not acquainted with its ways,
and do not stay in its paths.
14The murderer rises before it is light,
that he bmay kill the poor and needy,
and in the night he is like a thief.
15The eye of the adulterer also waits for cthe twilight,
saying, ‘No deye will see me’;
and he veils his face.
16In the dark they edig through houses;
by day they shut themselves up;
they do not know the light.

Proverbs 4:19

19 fThe way of the wicked is like deep gdarkness;
they do not know over what they hstumble.

John 3:19-20

19 iAnd this is the judgment: jthe light has come into the world, and kpeople loved the darkness rather than the light because ltheir works were evil. 20 mFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, nlest his works should be exposed.

John 12:35

1 Thessalonians 5:5-7

5For you are all uchildren
Or sons; twice in this verse
of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
6So then wlet us not sleep, as others do, but let us xkeep awake and ybe sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, zare drunk at night.
