Job 24:13-17

13 “There are those who rebel ^aagainst the light,
who are not acquainted with its ways,
and do not stay in its paths.
14 The murderer rises before it is light,
that he ^bmay kill the poor and needy,
and in the night he is like a thief.
15 The eye of the adulterer also waits for ^cthe twilight,
saying, ‘No ^deye will see me’;
and he veils his face.
16 In the dark they ^edig through houses;
by day they shut themselves up;
they do not know the light.
17 For ^fdeep darkness is morning to all of them;
for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.

Job 34:22

22 There is no ^ggloom or ^hdeep darkness
where evildoers may hide themselves.

Luke 12:1-3

Beware of the Leaven of the Pharisees

1 In the meantime, ⁱwhen so many thousands of the people had gathered together that they were trampling one another, he began to say to his disciples first, ^j“Beware of ^kthe leaven of the Pharisees, ^lwhich is hypocrisy. 2 ^mNothing is covered up that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. 3 Therefore whatever you have said in the dark shall be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in ⁿprivate rooms shall be proclaimed on ^othe housetops.

John 3:19

19 ^pAnd this is the judgment: ^qthe light has come into the world, and ^rpeople loved the darkness rather than the light because ^stheir works were evil.

1 Corinthians 4:5

5 Therefore ^tdo not pronounce judgment before the time, ^ubefore the Lord comes, ^vwho will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. ^wThen each one will receive his commendation from God.

2 Corinthians 4:2
