Job 24:13-17

13 “There are those who rebel aagainst the light,
who are not acquainted with its ways,
and do not stay in its paths.
14The murderer rises before it is light,
that he bmay kill the poor and needy,
and in the night he is like a thief.
15The eye of the adulterer also waits for cthe twilight,
saying, ‘No deye will see me’;
and he veils his face.
16In the dark they edig through houses;
by day they shut themselves up;
they do not know the light.
17For fdeep darkness is morning to all of them;
for they are friends with the terrors of deep darkness.

John 3:19-21

19 gAnd this is the judgment: hthe light has come into the world, and ipeople loved the darkness rather than the light because jtheir works were evil. 20 kFor everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, llest his works should be exposed. 21But whoever mdoes what is true ncomes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”

Romans 1:22-32

22 oClaiming to be wise, they became fools, 23and pexchanged the glory of qthe immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

24Therefore rGod gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, to sthe dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, 25because they exchanged the truth about God for ta lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, uwho is blessed forever! Amen.

26For this reason vGod gave them up to wdishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, xmen committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

28And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, yGod gave them up to za debased mind to do aawhat ought not to be done. 29They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, 30slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Though they know abGod’s righteous decree that those who practice such things acdeserve to die, they not only do them but adgive approval to those who practice them.

Romans 13:12

12 aeThe night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us afcast off agthe works of darkness and ahput on the armor of light.

Ephesians 4:22

1 Thessalonians 5:7
