Job 27:8

8 aFor what is the hope of the godless bwhen God cuts him off,
when God takes away his life?

Psalms 37:35-36

35 cI have seen a wicked, ruthless man,
spreading himself like da green laurel tree.
The identity of this tree is uncertain

36But he passed away,
Or  But one passed by
and behold, ghe was no more;
though I sought him, he could not be found.

Psalms 73:3-9

3 hFor I was ienvious of the arrogant
when I saw the jprosperity of the wicked.
4 For they have no pangs until death;
their bodies are fat and sleek.
5They are not in trouble as others are;
they are not kstricken like the rest of mankind.
6Therefore pride is ltheir necklace;
violence covers them as ma garment.
7Their neyes swell out through fatness;
their hearts overflow with follies.
8They scoff and ospeak with malice;
loftily they threaten oppression.
9They set their mouths against the heavens,
and their tongue struts through the earth.

Psalms 73:18-20

18 Truly you set them in pslippery places;
you make them fall to ruin.
19How they are destroyed qin a moment,
swept away utterly by rterrors!
20Like sa dream when one awakes,
O Lord, when tyou rouse yourself, you despise them as phantoms.

Psalms 92:7

7that though uthe wicked sprout like grass
and all vevildoers flourish,
they are doomed to destruction forever;

Jeremiah 12:1-3

Jeremiah’s Complaint

1 wRighteous are you, O Lord,
when I complain to you;
yet I would plead my case before you.
xWhy does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all ywho are treacherous thrive?
2You plant them, and they take root;
they grow and produce fruit;
zyou are near in their mouth
and far from their heart.
3 aaBut you, O Lord, know me;
abyou see me, and test my heart toward you.
acPull them out like sheep for the slaughter,
and set them apart for adthe day of slaughter.
