Job 29:11-18

11When the ear heard, it called me blessed,
and when the eye saw, it approved,
12because I adelivered the poor who cried for help,
and the fatherless who had none to help him.
13 bThe blessing of him who was cabout to perish came upon me,
and I caused dthe widow’s heart to sing for joy.
14I eput on righteousness, and it clothed me;
my justice was like a robe and fa turban.
15I was geyes to the blind
and feet to the lame.
16I was a father to the needy,
and I searched out hthe cause of him whom I did not know.
17I ibroke jthe fangs of the unrighteous
and made him drop his prey from his teeth.
18 kThen I thought, ‘I shall die in my lnest,
and I shall multiply my days as mthe sand,

Psalms 72:2-4

2May he njudge your people with righteousness,
and your poor with justice!
3Let the mountains bear oprosperity for the people,
and the hills, in righteousness!
4May he defend the cause of the poor of the people,
give deliverance to the children of the needy,
and crush the oppressor!

Psalms 72:12-14

12 For he delivers pthe needy when he calls,
the poor and him who has no helper.
13He has pity on the weak and the needy,
and saves the lives of the needy.
14From oppression and violence he redeems their life,
and qprecious is their blood in his sight.

Psalms 82:2-3

2How long will you judge unjustly
and rshow partiality to sthe wicked?  Selah
3 tGive justice to uthe weak and the fatherless;
vmaintain the right of the afflicted and the destitute.

Proverbs 16:12

12It is an abomination to kings to do evil,
for wthe throne is established by righteousness.

Proverbs 20:28

28 xSteadfast love and faithfulness preserve the king,
and by steadfast love his ythrone is upheld.

Proverbs 25:5

5take away zthe wicked from the presence of the king,
and his aathrone will be established in righteousness.

Proverbs 28:16

16A ruler who ablacks understanding is a cruel oppressor,
but he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.

Proverbs 29:4

4By justice a king acbuilds up the land,
but he who exacts gifts
Or  who taxes heavily
tears it down.
