Job 29:16-17

16 I was a father to the needy,
and I searched out ^bthe cause of him whom I did not know.
17 I ^cbroke ^dthe fangs of the unrighteous
and made him drop his prey from his teeth.

Psalms 72:12-14

12 For he delivers ^ethe needy when he calls,
the poor and him who has no helper.
13 He has pity on the weak and the needy,
and saves the lives of the needy.
14 From oppression and violence he redeems their life,

Proverbs 24:11-12
