Job Laments His Birth

1After this Job aopened his mouth and cursed the day of his birth.

Job 33:2

2Behold, I bopen my mouth;
the tongue in my mouth speaks.

Job 33:8-12

8 Surely you have spoken in my ears,
and I have heard the sound of your words.
9You say, ‘I am cpure, without dtransgression;
I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10Behold, he finds occasions against me,
he ecounts me as his enemy,
11he fputs my feet in the stocks
and gwatches all my paths.’
12 Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,
for God is greater than man.

Job 34:35-37

35Job hspeaks without knowledge;
his words are without insight.’
36Would that Job were tried to the end,
because he answers like wicked men.
37For he adds rebellion to his sin;
he iclaps his hands among us
and multiplies his words against God.”
