Job 3:11-12

11 “Why ^adid I not die at birth,
come out from the womb and expire?
12 Why did ^bthe knees receive me?
Or why the breasts, that I should nurse?

Job 3:20

20 “Why is light given to him who is in misery,
and life to ^cthe bitter in soul,

Job 3:23

23 Why is light given to a man whose ^dway is hidden,
whom God has ^ehedged in?

Job 7:12

12 Am I the sea, or ^fa sea monster,
that you set a guard over me?

Job 7:19-21

19 How long will you not ^glook away from me,
nor leave me alone till I swallow my spit?
20 If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind?
Why have you made me ^hyour mark?
Why have I become a burden to you?
21 Why do you not pardon my transgression
and take away my iniquity?
For now I shall lie in ⁱthe earth;
you will ^jseek me, ^kbut I shall not be.”

Job 9:17-18

17 For he crushes me with a tempest
and multiplies my wounds ^lwithout cause;
18 he will not let me get my breath,
but fills me with bitterness.

Job 9:32-35

32 For he is not a man, as I am, that I might answer him,
that we should ^mcome to trial together.

who might lay his hand on us both.
34 ^pLet him take his ^qrod away from me,
and let ^rnot dread of him terrify me.

to despise ^tthe work of your hands
^uand favor the designs of the wicked?
4 Have you ^veyes of flesh?
^wDo you see as man sees?
5 Are your days as the days of man,
or your ^xyears as a man’s years,
6 that you ^yseek out my iniquity
and search for my sin,
7 although you ^zknow that I am not guilty,
and there is ^aanone to deliver out of your hand?

Job 10:14-17

14 If I sin, you ^abwatch me
and do not ^acacquit me of my iniquity.
15 ^adIf I am guilty, woe to me!
If I am ^aein the right, I cannot lift up my head,
for I am filled with disgrace
and ^aflook on my affliction.
16 And were my head lifted up, ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks my head} you would hunt me like ^aha lion
and again work ^aiwonders against me.
17 You renew your ^ajwitnesses against me
and increase your vexation toward me;
you ^akbring fresh troops against me.

Job 13:21-27

21 ^alwithdraw your hand far from me,
and let not ^amdread of you terrify me.
22 ^anThen call, and I will answer;
or let me speak, and you reply to me.
23 How many are my iniquities and my sins?
^aoMake me know my transgression and my sin.
24 Why ^apdo you hide your face
and ^aqcount me as your enemy?
25 Will you frighten ^ara driven leaf
and pursue dry ^aschaff?
26 For you ^atwrite bitter things against me
and make me inherit ^authe iniquities of my youth.
27 You put my feet in ^avthe stocks
and ^awwatch all my paths;
you set a limit for ^{▼▼Or you marked} the soles of my feet.
