John 11:11-13

11After saying these things, he said to them, Our friend Lazarus khas fallen asleep, but I go to awaken him.” 12The disciples said to him, “Lord, if he has fallen asleep, he will recover.” 13Now Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that he meant taking rest in sleep.

Ephesians 5:14

14for anything that becomes visible is light. Therefore it says,

lAwake, O sleeper,
and marise from the dead,
and nChrist will shine on you.”

1 Thessalonians 4:14-15

14For osince we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him pthose who have fallen asleep. 15For this we declare to you qby a word from the Lord,
Or  by the word of the Lord
that swe who are alive, who are left until tthe coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.
