Job 3:13-19

13For then I would have lain down and been quiet;
I would have slept; then I would have been at rest,
14with kings and counselors of the earth
who arebuilt ruins for themselves,
15or with princes who had gold,
who filled their houses with silver.
16Or why was I not as a hidden bstillborn child,
as infants who never see the light?
17There the wicked cease from troubling,
and there the weary are at crest.
18There the prisoners are at ease together;
they hear not the voice of dthe taskmaster.
19The small and the great are there,
and the slave is free from his master.

Isaiah 57:1-2

Israel’s Futile Idolatry

1 The righteous man perishes,
and no one lays it to heart;
edevout men are taken away,
while no one understands.
For the righteous man is taken away from calamity;
2 fhe enters into peace;
they rest gin their beds
who walk in their uprightness.

Revelation of John 14:13

13And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: hBlessed are the dead iwho die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, jthat they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”
