1“But now they alaugh at me,
men who are byounger than I,
whose fathers I would have disdained
to set with the dogs of my flock.
2What could I gain from the strength of their hands,

3Through want and hard hunger
they egnaw fthe dry ground by night in gwaste and desolation;
4they pick saltwort and the leaves of bushes,

And kneeling before him, they afmocked him, saying, “Hail, agKing of the Jews!” 30And ahthey spit on him and took the reed and struck him on the head.

Matthew 27:39-44

39And aithose who passed by ajderided him, akwagging their heads 40and saying, al“You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! amIf you are anthe Son of God, come down from the cross.” 41So also the chief priests, with the scribes and elders, mocked him, saying, 42 ao“He saved others; aphe cannot save himself. aqHe is the King of Israel; let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 arHe trusts in God; let God deliver him now, if he desires him.
