Job 32:15-16

15 “They are dismayed; they answer no more;
they have not a word to say.
16And shall I wait, because they do not speak,
because they stand there, and answer no more?

Isaiah 50:2-9

2 aWhy, when I came, was there no man;
why, when I called, was there no one to answer?
bIs my hand shortened, that it cannot redeem?
Or have I no power to deliver?
cBehold, by my rebuke dI dry up the sea,
eI make the rivers a desert;
ftheir fish stink for lack of water
and die of thirst.
3 gI clothe the heavens with blackness
and make sackcloth their covering.”
4 The Lord God has given hme
the tongue of those who are taught,
that iI may know how to sustain with a word
jhim who is weary.
Morning by morning he awakens;
he awakens my ear
to hear as those who are taught.
5 kThe Lord God has opened my ear,
land I was not rebellious;
I turned not backward.
6 mI gave my back to those who strike,
and my cheeks to those who pull out the beard;
I hid not my face
from disgrace and spitting.
7 But the Lord God helps me;
therefore I have not been disgraced;
ntherefore I have set my face like a flint,
and I know that I shall not be put to shame.
8 oHe who vindicates me is near.
Who will contend with me?
Let us stand up together.
Who is my adversary?
Let him come near to me.
9 pBehold, the Lord God helps me;
who will declare me guilty?
Behold, all of them will wear out like a garment;
the moth will eat them up.

Matthew 21:27

27So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.” And he said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

Luke 13:17

17As he said these things, qall his adversaries were put to shame, and rall the people rejoiced at all the glorious things that were done by him.

Luke 14:6

6 sAnd they could not reply to these things.

John 8:7-9

7And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them, t“Let him who is without sin among you ube the first to throw a stone at her.” 8And once more he bent down and wrote on the ground. 9But when they heard it, they went away one by one, beginning with the older ones, and Jesus was left alone with the woman standing before him.

Acts 4:14
