18 he keeps back his soul from the pit,
his life from ^aperishing by the sword.

22 His soul draws near ^bthe pit,
and his life to ^cthose who bring death.

28 He has redeemed my ^dsoul from going down ^einto the pit,
and my life shall ^flook upon the light.’
