Job 33:8-12

8 Surely you have spoken in my ears,
and I have heard the sound of your words.
9You say, ‘I am apure, without btransgression;
I am clean, and there is no iniquity in me.
10Behold, he finds occasions against me,
he ccounts me as his enemy,
11he dputs my feet in the stocks
and ewatches all my paths.’
12 Behold, in this you are not right. I will answer you,
for God is greater than man.

Job 34:5-9

5For Job has said, ‘I am fin the right,
and gGod has taken away my right;
6in spite of my right I am counted a liar;
my wound is incurable, though I am hwithout transgression.’
7What man is like Job,
who idrinks up scoffing like water,
8who travels in company with evildoers
and walks jwith wicked men?
9For khe has said, ‘It profits a man nothing
that he should take delight in God.’

Job 35:2-3

2 “Do you think this to be just?
Do you say, l‘It is my right before God,’
3that you ask, mWhat advantage have I?
How am I better off than if I had sinned?’

Job 40:8

8Will you even put me in the wrong?
Will you condemn me that nyou may be in the right?

Job 42:3

3 oWho is this that hides counsel without knowledge?’
Therefore I have uttered what I did not understand,
things ptoo wonderful for me, which I did not know.
