Job 34:14-15

14If he should aset his heart to it
and bgather to himself his cspirit and his breath,
15all flesh would perish together,
and man would dreturn to dust.

Job 34:19-24

19who eshows no partiality to princes,
nor regards the rich fmore than the poor,
for gthey are all the work of his hands?
20In a moment hthey die;
at imidnight the people are shaken and pass away,
and the mighty are taken away by jno human hand.
21 “For his eyes are on kthe ways of a man,
and he sees all his lsteps.
22There is no mgloom or ndeep darkness
where evildoers may hide themselves.
23For God

has no need to consider a man further,
that he should go before God in pjudgment.
24He qshatters the mighty without investigation
and sets rothers in their place.

Isaiah 40:15-17

15Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket,
and are accounted sas the dust on the scales;
behold, he takes up tthe coastlands like fine dust.
16Lebanon would not suffice for fuel,
nor are uits beasts enough for a burnt offering.
17 vAll the nations are as nothing before him,
they are accounted by him as less than nothing and emptiness.

Isaiah 40:22-24

22It is he who sits above the circle of the earth,
and its inhabitants are wlike grasshoppers;
xwho stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;
23 ywho brings princes to nothing,
and makes the rulers of the earth as emptiness.
24 Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown,
scarcely has their stem taken root in the earth,
when he blows on them, and they wither,
zand the tempest carries them off like stubble.
