Job 35:11

11who teaches us amore than the beasts of the earth
and makes us wiser than the birds of the heavens?’

Jeremiah 4:22

22 For bmy people are foolish;
they know me not;
they are stupid children;
they have no understanding.
cThey are ‘wise’—in doing evil!
But how to do good they know not.”

Jeremiah 8:6-7

6 dI have paid attention and listened,
but they have not spoken rightly;
no man relents of his evil,
saying, ‘What have I done?’
Everyone turns to his own course,
elike a horse plunging headlong into battle.
7Even the stork in the heavens
knows her times,
and fthe turtledove, gswallow, and crane
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain

keep the time of their coming,
ibut my people know not
the rules
Or just decrees
of the Lord.
