Job 37:4-5

4 After it ^ahis voice roars;
^bhe thunders with his majestic voice,
and he does not restrain the lightnings ^{▼▼Hebrew them} when his voice is heard.
5 God thunders wondrously with his voice;
he does ^dgreat things that we cannot ^ecomprehend.

Psalms 39:3-9

3 My ^fheart became hot within me.
As I mused, the fire burned;
then I spoke with my tongue:
4 “O Lord, ^gmake me know my end
and what is the measure of my days;
let me know how fleeting I am!
5 Behold, you have made my days a few handbreadths,
and ^hmy lifetime is as nothing before you.
Surely ⁱall mankind stands as a mere breath! Selah
6 Surely a man ^jgoes about as a shadow!
Surely for nothing ^{▼▼Hebrew Surely as a breath} they are in turmoil;
man ^lheaps up wealth and does not know who will gather!
7 “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait?
^mMy hope is in you.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions.
ⁿDo not make me the scorn of the fool!

^pfor it is you who have done it.
