Job 38:10-11

10and prescribed alimits for it
and set bars and doors,
11and said, ‘Thus far shall you come, and no farther,
and here shall your bproud waves be stayed’?

Psalms 107:25-29

and the waves of the sea were hushed.

Isaiah 51:15

15I am the Lord your God,
nwho stirs up the sea so that its waves roar
the Lord of hosts is his name.

Jeremiah 5:22

22 oDo you not fear me? declares the Lord.
Do you not tremble before me?
I placed the sand pas the boundary for the sea,
a perpetual barrier that it cannot pass;
though the waves toss, they cannot prevail;
though qthey roar, they cannot pass over it.

Matthew 8:25-26

25And they went and woke him, saying, rSave us, Lord; we are perishing.” 26And he said to them, Why are you safraid, tO you of little faith?” Then he rose and urebuked the winds and the sea, and vthere was a great calm.
