16 It stood still,
but I could not discern its appearance.
^aA form was before my eyes;
there was silence, then I heard ^ba voice:
17 ^c‘Can mortal man be in the right before ^{▼▼Or more than; twice in this verse} God?
Can a man be pure before his Maker?
18 Even in his servants ^ehe puts no trust,
and his angels he charges with error;
19 how much more those who dwell in houses of ^fclay,
whose foundation is in ^gthe dust,
who are crushed like ^hthe moth.
20 Between ⁱmorning and evening they are beaten to pieces;
they perish forever ^jwithout anyone regarding it.
21 Is not their tent-cord plucked up within them,
^kdo they not die, and that without wisdom?’

Job 32:14-15

14 He has not directed his words against me,
and I will not answer him with your speeches.
15 “They are dismayed; they answer no more;
they have not a word to say.
