Job 4:6-11

6 aIs not your fear of God
Hebrew lacks  of God
your cconfidence,
and the integrity of your ways your hope?
7 Remember: dwho that was innocent ever perished?
Or where were the upright cut off?
8As I have seen, those who eplow iniquity
and sow trouble reap the same.
9By fthe breath of God they perish,
and by gthe blast of his anger they are consumed.
10The roar of the lion, the voice of the fierce lion,
hthe teeth of the young lions are broken.
11The strong lion perishes for lack of prey,
and the cubs of the lioness are scattered.

Job 5:3-4

3 iI have seen the fool taking root,
but suddenly I cursed his dwelling.
4His children are jfar from safety;
they are crushed in kthe gate,
and there is no one to deliver them.

Job 8:4-6

4If your lchildren have sinned against him,
he has delivered them into the hand of their transgression.
5If you will seek God
and mplead with the Almighty for mercy,
6if you are pure and upright,
surely then he will nrouse himself for you
and orestore your rightful habitation.

Job 11:3

3Should your babble silence men,
and when you mock, shall no one shame you?

Job 11:14

14If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away,
and let not injustice dwell in your tents.

Job 15:4-6

4But you are doing away with the fear of God
Hebrew lacks  of God

and hindering meditation before God.
5For your iniquity teaches your mouth,
and you choose the tongue of the crafty.
6Your qown mouth condemns you, and not I;
ryour own lips testify against you.

Job 15:11-12

11Are the comforts of God too small for you,
or the word that deals gently with you?
12Why does your heart carry you away,
and why do your eyes flash,

Job 18:4-21

4You who stear yourself in your anger,
shall the earth be forsaken for you,
or tthe rock be removed out of its place?
5 Indeed, uthe light of the wicked is put out,
and the flame of his fire does not shine.
6The light is vdark in his tent,
and his lamp above him is put out.
7His strong steps are shortened,
and his wown schemes throw him down.
8For he is cast into a net by his own feet,
and he walks on its mesh.
9 xA trap seizes him by the heel;
a snare lays hold of him.
10A rope is hidden for him in the ground,
a trap for him in the path.
11 yTerrors frighten him on every side,
and chase him at his heels.
12His strength is famished,
and calamity is zready for his stumbling.
13It consumes the parts of his skin;
aathe firstborn of death consumes his limbs.
14He is torn from the tent in which he trusted
and is brought to abthe king of terrors.
15In his tent dwells that which is none of his;
acsulfur is scattered over his habitation.
16His adroots dry up beneath,
and his branches aewither above.
17His afmemory perishes from the earth,
and he has no name in the street.
18 agHe is thrust from light into darkness,
and driven out of the world.
19He has no ahposterity or progeny among his people,
and no survivor where he used to live.
20They of the west are appalled at his aiday,
and ajhorror seizes them of the east.
21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous,
such is the place of him who akknows not God.”
