Job 40:11-12

11 Pour out the overflowings of your anger,
and look on everyone who is ^aproud and abase him.
12 Look on everyone who is proud and bring him low
and ^btread down the wicked ^cwhere they stand.

Isaiah 2:11-17

11 ^dThe haughty looks of man shall be brought low,
and the lofty pride of men shall be humbled,
and the Lord alone will be exalted in that day.
12 ^eFor the Lord of hosts has a day
against all that is proud and lofty,
against all that is lifted up—and it shall be brought low;
13 against all the ^fcedars of Lebanon,
lofty and lifted up;
and against all the ^goaks of Bashan;

and against every fortified wall;

Daniel 4:37
