7 aDress for action
Hebrew Gird up your loins
like a man;
cI will question you, and you make it known to me.
8Will you even put me in the wrong?
Will you condemn me that dyou may be in the right?

Isaiah 43:9

Who among them can declare this,
and show us the former things?

12 qI fast twice a week; rI give tithes of all that I get.’ 13But the tax collector, sstanding far off, twould not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but ubeat his breast, saying, ‘God, vbe merciful to me, a sinner!’ 14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For weveryone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

Romans 8:33

33Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? xIt is God who justifies.
