Job 5:12-13

12 He ^afrustrates the devices of the crafty,
so that their hands achieve no success.
13 He ^bcatches the wise in their own craftiness,
and the schemes of the wily are brought to a quick end.

Isaiah 19:3

3 and the spirit of the Egyptians within them will be emptied out,

Daniel 2:2

Daniel 5:7-8

7 ^sThe king called loudly to bring in ^tthe enchanters, the ^uChaldeans, and ^vthe astrologers. The king declared ^{▼▼Aramaic answered and said; also verse 10} to the wise men of Babylon, ^x“Whoever reads this writing, and shows me its interpretation, shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around his neck and ^yshall be the third ruler in the kingdom.” 8 Then all the king’s wise men came in, but ^zthey could not read the writing or make known to the king the interpretation.
