Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verses 16, 19
when you meet trials pof various kinds,
3for you know that qthe testing of your faith rproduces steadfastness. 4And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be sperfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

James 5:11

11Behold, we consider those blessed who remained steadfast. You have heard of tthe steadfastness of Job, and you have seen uthe purpose of the Lord, how vthe Lord is compassionate and merciful.
