3 aI have seen the fool taking root,

and no survivor where he used to live.
20They of the west are appalled at his jday,
and khorror seizes them of the east.
21Surely such are the dwellings of the unrighteous,
such is the place of him who lknows not God.”

Job 21:28-30

28For you say, mWhere is the house of the prince?
Where is nthe tent in which the wicked lived?’
29Have you not asked those who travel the roads,
and do you not accept their testimony
30that othe evil man is spared in the day of calamity,
that he is rescued in the day of wrath?

Job 27:13-23

13 pThis is the portion of a wicked man with God,
and the heritage that qoppressors receive from the Almighty:
14If his rchildren are multiplied, it is for sthe sword,
and his descendants have not enough bread.
15Those who survive him the pestilence buries,
and his twidows do not weep.
16Though he uheap up silver like dust,
and pile up clothing like clay,
17he may pile it up, but the righteous will wear it,
and vthe innocent will divide the silver.
18He builds his whouse like a moth’s,
like xa booth that ya watchman makes.
19He goes to bed rich, but will zdo so no more;
he opens his eyes, and aahis wealth is gone.
20 abTerrors overtake him like aca flood;
in the night a whirlwind adcarries him off.
21 aeThe east wind lifts him up and he is gone;
it afsweeps him out of his place.

Psalms 37:35-36

35 alI have seen a wicked, ruthless man,
spreading himself like ama green laurel tree.

though I sought him, he could not be found.

Psalms 52:5

5 But God will break you down forever;
he will snatch and aqtear you from your tent;
he will uproot you from arthe land of the living.  Selah
