1 “I aloathe my life;
I will give free utterance to my bcomplaint;
I will speak in cthe bitterness of my soul.

Psalms 77:2-9

2 dIn the day of my trouble I seek the Lord;
in ethe night my fhand is stretched out without wearying;
my soul grefuses to be comforted.
3When I remember God, I hmoan;
when I meditate, my spirit faints.  Selah
4 You hold my eyelids open;
I am so itroubled that I cannot speak.
5I consider jthe days of old,
the years long ago.

Hebrew lacks  I said
“Let me remember my lsong in the night;
let me mmeditate in my heart.”
Then my spirit made a diligent search:
7“Will the Lord nspurn forever,
and never again obe favorable?
8Has his steadfast love forever ceased?
Are his ppromises at an end for all time?
9 qHas God forgotten to be gracious?
rHas he in anger shut up his compassion?”  Selah
