Job 6:21-23

21 For you have now become nothing;
you see my calamity and are afraid.
22 Have I said, ‘Make me a gift’?
Or, ‘From your wealth offer a bribe for me’?
23 Or, ‘Deliver me from the adversary’s hand’?
Or, ‘Redeem me from the hand of ^athe ruthless’?

Job 19:13-17

13 “He has put my ^bbrothers far from me,
and ^cthose who knew me are wholly estranged from me.
14 My relatives ^dhave failed me,
my close ^efriends have forgotten me.
15 The guests ^fin my house and my maidservants count me as a stranger;
I have become a foreigner in their eyes.
16 I call to my servant, but he gives me no answer;
I must plead with him with my mouth for mercy.
17 My breath is strange to my ^gwife,
and I am a stench to the children of ^hmy own mother.

Psalms 31:11
