Job 6:24-25

24 Teach me, and I will be silent;
make me understand how I have gone astray.
25How forceful are upright words!
But what does reproof from you reprove?

Job 8:8-10

8 For ainquire, please, of bygone ages,
and consider what bthe fathers have searched out.
9For we are but of yesterday and know nothing,
for our days on earth are ca shadow.
10Will they not teach you and tell you
and utter words out of their understanding?

Job 11:2

2 “Should da multitude of words go unanswered,
and a man full of talk be judged right?

Job 11:6

6and that he would tell you the secrets of wisdom!
For he is manifold in eunderstanding.
The meaning of the Hebrew is uncertain

Know then that God gexacts of you less than your guilt deserves.

Job 11:12

12But a stupid man will get understanding
when ha wild donkey’s colt is iborn a man!

Job 15:2

2 “Should ja wise man answer with kwindy knowledge,
and fill his lbelly with mthe east wind?

Job 17:4

4Since you have closed their hearts to understanding,
therefore you will not let them triumph.

Job 20:3

3I hear censure that insults me,
and out of my understanding a spirit answers me.

Job 32:7-13

7I said, ‘Let days speak,
and many years teach wisdom.’
8But it is nthe spirit in man,
othe breath of the Almighty, that makes him punderstand.
9 qIt is not the old
Hebrew many [in years]
who are wise,
nor the aged who understand what is right.
10Therefore I say, ‘Listen to me;
let me also declare my opinion.’
11 Behold, I waited for your words,
I listened for your wise sayings,
while you searched out what to say.
12I gave you my attention,
and, behold, there was none among you who refuted Job
or who answered his words.
13Beware slest you say, ‘We have found wisdom;
God may vanquish him, not a man.’

Proverbs 28:11

11A rich man is wise in his town eyes,
but a poor man who has understanding uwill find him out.
