Job 7:11

11 Therefore I will not arestrain my mouth;
I will speak in the anguish of my spirit;
I will bcomplain in cthe bitterness of my soul.

Psalms 88:3-18

3 For my soul is full of troubles,
and dmy life draws near to eSheol.
4I am counted among those who fgo down to the pit;
I am a man who has no strength,
5like one set loose among the dead,
like the slain that lie in the grave,
like those whom gyou remember no more,
for they are hcut off from your hand.
6You have put me in ithe depths of the pit,
in the jregions dark and kdeep.
7Your wrath llies heavy upon me,
and you overwhelm me with mall your waves.  Selah
8 You have caused nmy companions to shun me;
you have made me oa horror
Or an abomination
to them.
I am qshut in so that I cannot escape;
9 rmy eye grows dim through sorrow.
Every day I call upon you, O Lord;
I sspread out my hands to you.
10Do you work wonders for the dead?
tDo the departed rise up to praise you?  Selah
11Is your steadfast love declared in the grave,
or your faithfulness in Abaddon?
12Are your uwonders known in vthe darkness,
or your righteousness in the land of wforgetfulness?
13 But I, O Lord, cry xto you;
yin the morning my prayer comes before you.
14O Lord, why zdo you cast my soul away?
Why aado you hide your face from me?
15Afflicted and close to death from my youth up,
I suffer your terrors; I am helpless.
The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain

16Your wrath has swept over me;
your acdreadful assaults destroy me.
17They adsurround me like a flood aeall day long;
they afclose in on me together.
18You have caused agmy beloved and my friend to shun me;
my companions have become darkness.
Or darkness has become my only companion

Psalms 102:3-28

3 For my days aipass away like smoke,
and my ajbones burn like a furnace.
4My heart is akstruck down like grass and alhas withered;
I amforget to eat my bread.
5Because of my loud groaning
my anbones cling to my flesh.
6I am like aoa desert owl of the wilderness,
like an owl
The precise identity of these birds is uncertain
of the waste places;
7I aqlie awake;
I am like a lonely sparrow on the housetop.
8All the day my enemies taunt me;
those who arderide me asuse my name for a curse.
9For I eat ashes like bread
and atmingle tears with my drink,
10because of your indignation and anger;
for you have autaken me up and avthrown me down.
11My days are like awan evening shadow;
I axwither away like grass.
12 But you, O Lord, are ayenthroned forever;
you azare remembered throughout all generations.
13You will baarise and have bbpity on Zion;
it is the time to favor her;
bcthe appointed time has come.
14For your servants hold her bdstones dear
and have pity on her dust.
15Nations will befear the name of the Lord,
and all bfthe kings of the earth will fear your glory.
16For the Lord bgbuilds up Zion;
he bhappears in his glory;
17he biregards the prayer of the destitute
and does not despise their prayer.
18 Let this be bjrecorded for bka generation to come,
so that bla people yet to be created may praise the Lord:
19that he bmlooked down from his holy height;
from heaven the Lord looked at the earth,
20to hear bnthe groans of the prisoners,
to set free bothose who were doomed to die,
21that they may bpdeclare in Zion the name of the Lord,
and in Jerusalem his praise,
22when bqpeoples gather together,
and kingdoms, to worship the Lord.
23 He has broken my strength in midcourse;
he brhas shortened my days.
24“O my God,” bsI say, “take me not away
in the midst of my days
btyou whose years endure
throughout all generations!”
25 buOf old you laid the foundation of the earth,
and bvthe heavens are the work of your hands.
26 bwThey will perish, but bxyou will remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away,
27but byyou are the same, and your years have no end.
28 bzThe children of your servants cashall dwell secure;
cbtheir offspring shall be established before you.

Lamentations 3:17

17my soul is bereft of peace;
I have forgotten what happiness
Hebrew good
is;

Lamentations 3:39
