Job 7:20-21

20 If I sin, what do I do to you, you watcher of mankind?
Why have you made me ^ayour mark?
Why have I become a burden to you?
21 Why do you not pardon my transgression
and take away my iniquity?
For now I shall lie in ^bthe earth;
you will ^cseek me, ^dbut I shall not be.”

Job 10:14-17

14 If I sin, you ^ewatch me
and do not ^facquit me of my iniquity.
15 ^gIf I am guilty, woe to me!
If I am ^hin the right, I cannot lift up my head,
for I am filled with disgrace
and ⁱlook on my affliction.
16 And were my head lifted up, ^{▼▼Hebrew lacks my head} you would hunt me like ^ka lion
and again work ^lwonders against me.
17 You renew your ^mwitnesses against me
and increase your vexation toward me;

Job 13:25-28

26 For you ^qwrite bitter things against me
and make me inherit ^rthe iniquities of my youth.
27 You put my feet in ^sthe stocks
and ^twatch all my paths;
you set a limit for ^{▼▼Or you marked} the soles of my feet.
28 Man ^{▼▼Hebrew He} wastes away like ^wa rotten thing,
like a garment that is ^xmoth-eaten.

Job 16:9-14

9 He has ^ytorn me in his wrath ^zand hated me;
he has ^aagnashed his teeth at me;
my adversary sharpens his eyes against me.
10 Men have ^abgaped at me with their mouth;
they have ^acstruck me insolently on the cheek;
they ^admass themselves together against me.
11 God gives me up to the ungodly
and casts me into the hands of the wicked.
12 I was at ease, and he broke me apart;
he seized me by the neck and dashed me to pieces;
he set me up as his ^aetarget;
13 his ^afarchers surround me.
He slashes open my kidneys ^agand does not spare;
he ^ahpours out my gall on the ground.
14 He breaks me with ^aibreach upon breach;
he ^ajruns upon me like a warrior.

Job 19:6-9

6 know then that God has ^akput me in the wrong
and closed his net about me.
7 Behold, I ^alcry out, ‘Violence!’ but I am not answered;
I call for help, but there is no justice.
8 He has ^amwalled up my way, so that I cannot pass,
and he has set darkness upon my paths.
9 He has ^anstripped from me my glory
and taken the ^aocrown from my head.

Psalms 77:7-9

7 “Will the Lord ^apspurn forever,

8 Has his steadfast love forever ceased?
