and gave them drink abundantly as from the deep.
16He made streams come out of ithe rock
and caused waters to flow down like rivers.
17 Yet they sinned still more against him,
jrebelling against the Most High in the desert.
18They ktested God in their heart
by demanding the food they craved.
19They spoke against God, saying,
lCan God mspread a table in the wilderness?
20 nHe struck the rock so that water gushed out
and streams overflowed.
Can he also give bread
or provide meat for his people?”
21 Therefore, when the Lord heard, he was full of wrath;
oa fire was kindled against Jacob;
his anger rose against Israel,
22because they pdid not believe in God
and did not trust his saving power.

Psalms 78:32

32 In spite of all this, they qstill sinned;
rdespite his wonders, they did not believe.

Psalms 95:8-10

8 sdo not harden your hearts, as at tMeribah,
as on the day at uMassah in the wilderness,
9when your fathers put me to the vtest
and put me to the proof, though they had seen my wwork.
10 xFor forty years I loathed that generation
and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart,
and they have not known ymy ways.”

Psalms 106:21-24

21They zforgot God, their Savior,
who had done great things in Egypt,

had not Moses, his acchosen one,
adstood in the breach before him,

am“When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’
3And in the morning, ‘It will be stormy today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ anYou know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret aothe signs of the times. 4 apAn evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” So aqhe left them and departed.

John 6:30

30So they said to him, arThen what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform?

John 20:20

20When he had said this, ashe showed them his hands and his side. Then atthe disciples were glad when they saw the Lord.
