Job 9:22-23

22 It is all one; therefore I say,
‘He ^adestroys both the blameless and the wicked.’
23 When ^bdisaster brings sudden death,
he mocks at the calamity ^{▼▼The meaning of the Hebrew word is uncertain} of the innocent.

Job 9:30

30 If I wash myself with snow
and ^dcleanse my hands with lye,

Job 21:7-15

7 ^eWhy do the wicked live,
reach old age, and grow mighty in power?
8 Their ^foffspring are established in their presence,
and their descendants before their eyes.
9 Their houses are ^gsafe from fear,
and ^hno rod of God is upon them.
10 Their bull breeds without fail;
their cow calves and ⁱdoes not miscarry.
11 They send out their ^jlittle boys like a flock,
and their children dance.
12 They sing to ^kthe tambourine and ^lthe lyre
and rejoice to the sound of ^mthe pipe.
13 They ⁿspend their days in prosperity,
and in ^opeace they go down to ^pSheol.
14 They say to God, ^q‘Depart from us!
We do not desire the knowledge of your ways.
15 ^rWhat is the Almighty, that we should serve him?
And what ^sprofit do we get if we pray to him?’
