Job 9:29-31

29 I shall be ^acondemned;
why then do I labor in vain?
30 If I wash myself with snow
and ^bcleanse my hands with lye,
31 yet you will plunge me into a pit,
and my own clothes will ^cabhor me.

Isaiah 28:20

20 For the bed is too short to stretch oneself on,
and the covering too narrow to wrap oneself in.

Isaiah 59:6
