Job 9:3

Ecclesiastes 6:10

10Whatever has come to be has falready been named, and it is known what man is, and that he is not able to gdispute with one stronger than he.

Isaiah 45:9-11

9 hWoe to him who strives with him who formed him,
a pot among earthen pots!
iDoes the clay say to him who forms it, ‘What are you making?’
or ‘Your work has no handles’?
10Woe to him who says to a father, ‘What are you begetting?’
or to a woman, ‘With what are you in labor?’”

the Holy One of Israel, and the one who formed him:
kAsk me of things to come;
will you command me lconcerning my children and mthe work of my hands?
A slight emendation yields  will you question me about my children, or command me concerning the work of my hands?

Isaiah 50:8

8 oHe who vindicates me is near.
Who will contend with me?
Let us stand up together.
Who is my adversary?
Let him come near to me.

1 Corinthians 10:22

22 pShall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? qAre we stronger than he?
