18 aThen the Lord became jealous for his land
band had pity on his people.
19The Lord answered and said to his people,
Behold, cI am sending to you
grain, wine, and oil,
dand you will be satisfied;
and I will no more make you
a reproach among the nations.

1 eThis is what the Lord God showed me: behold, fhe was forming locusts when the latter growth was just beginning to sprout, and behold, it was the latter growth after the king’s mowings. 2When they had finished eating the grass of the land, I said,

“O Lord God, please forgive!
gHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”
3 hThe Lord relented concerning this:
“It shall not be,” said the Lord.
4 iThis is what the Lord God showed me: behold, the Lord God was calling jfor a judgment by fire, and it devoured the great deep and was eating up the land. 5Then I said,

“O Lord God, please cease!
kHow can Jacob stand?
He is so small!”
6 lThe Lord relented concerning this:
This also shall not be,” said the Lord God.

Jonah 1:15

15So they picked up Jonah and hurled him into the sea, mand the sea ceased from its raging.

Zechariah 6:8

8Then he cried to me, “Behold, those who go toward nthe north country have set my Spirit at rest in othe north country.”
