Joel 2:28-32

The Lord Will Pour Out His Spirit

^dyour sons and ^eyour daughters shall prophesy,
your old men shall dream dreams,
and your young men shall see visions.
29 ^fEven on the male and female servants
in those days I will pour out my Spirit.
30 “And I will show ^gwonders in the heavens and ^hon the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. 31 ⁱThe sun shall be turned to darkness, ^jand the moon to blood, ^kbefore the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. 32 And it shall come to pass that ^leveryone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. ^mFor in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among ⁿthe survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.

Joel 3:18

18 “And in that day
^othe mountains shall drip sweet wine,
and the hills shall flow with milk,
and ^pall the streambeds of Judah
shall flow with water;
^qand a fountain shall come forth from the house of the Lord

The Coming of the Holy Spirit

1 When ^sthe day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like ^ta mighty rushing wind, and ^uit filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues ^vas of fire appeared to them and rested ^{▼▼Or And tongues as of fire appeared to them, distributed among them, and rested} on each one of them. 4 And they were all ^xfilled with the Holy Spirit and began ^yto speak in other tongues ^zas the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:16-21

16 But this is what was uttered through the prophet Joel:
