Joel 2:30-31

Malachi 4:1

The Great Day of the Lord

1 ^{▼▼Ch 4:1–6 is ch 3:19–24 in Hebrew} “For behold, ^gthe day is coming, ^hburning like an oven, when ⁱall the arrogant and ^jall evildoers ^kwill be stubble. The day that is coming ^lshall set them ablaze, says the Lord of hosts, so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.

Matthew 3:7-10

Matthew 3:12

Matthew 22:6-7
