The Word Became Flesh

1 aIn the beginning was bthe Word, and cthe Word was with God, and dthe Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3 eAll things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Colossians 1:16

16For by
That is,  by means of; or in
him all things were created, gin heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether hthrones or idominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created jthrough him and for him.

Hebrews 1:2

2but kin these last days lhe has spoken to us by mhis Son, whom he appointed nthe heir of all things, othrough whom also he created pthe world.

Hebrews 1:6

6And again, when he brings qthe firstborn into the world, he says,

rLet all God’s angels worship him.”

Hebrews 1:8

8But of the Son he says,

sYour throne, O God, is forever and ever,
the scepter of uprightness is the scepter of your kingdom.

Hebrews 1:10-12

10And,

tYou, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning,
and the heavens are the work of your hands;
11they will perish, but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment,
12like a robe you will roll them up,
like a garment they will be changed.
Some manuscripts omit  like a garment

But you are vthe same,
and your years will have no end.”
