John 1:1-5

The Word Became Flesh

1 ^aIn the beginning was ^bthe Word, and ^cthe Word was with God, and ^dthe Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 ^eAll things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 ^fIn him was life, ^{▼▼Or was not any thing made. That which has been made was life in him} and ^hthe life was the light of men. 5 ⁱThe light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 1:9

9 ^jThe true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

John 8:12

I Am the Light of the World

12 ^kAgain Jesus spoke to them, saying, ^l“I am the light of the world. Whoever ^mfollows me will not ⁿwalk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Revelation of John 21:23

23 And the city ^ohas no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for ^pthe glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

Revelation of John 22:5

5 And ^qnight will be no more. They will need no light of lamp ^ror sun, for ^sthe Lord God will be their light, and ^tthey will reign forever and ever.
