Hebrews 2:9-14

Greek  all are of one
That is why he is not ashamed to call them aibrothers,
Or  brothers and sisters. The plural Greek word adelphoi (translated “brothers”) refers to siblings in a family. In New Testament usage, depending on the context, adelphoi may refer either to men or to both men and women who are siblings (brothers and sisters) in God’s family, the church; also verse 12
12saying,

ak“I will tell of your name to my brothers;
in the midst of the alcongregation I will sing your praise.”
13And again,

amI will put my trust in him.”
And again,

anBehold, I and the children aoGod has given me.”
14Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise appartook of the same things, that aqthrough death he might ardestroy asthe one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,

Hebrews 9:26-28

26for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, athe has appeared auonce for all avat the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. 27And just as awit is appointed for man to die once, and axafter that comes judgment, 28so Christ, having been offered once ayto bear the sins of azmany, will appear baa second time, bbnot to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly bcwaiting for him.
