The Testimony of John the Baptist

19And this is the atestimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, bWho are you?”

John 1:32-34

32And John cbore witness: d“I saw the Spirit descend from heaven like a dove, and eit remained on him. 33I myself did not know him, but fhe who sent me to baptize gwith water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, hthis is he who baptizes iwith the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

John 8:13-14

13So the Pharisees said to him, jYou are bearing witness about yourself; your testimony is not true.” 14Jesus answered, Even if I do bear witness about myself, kmy testimony is true, for I know lwhere I came from and mwhere I am going, but nyou do not know where I come from or where I am going.

John 19:35

35 oHe who saw it has borne witnessphis testimony is true, and he knows that he is telling the truthqthat you also may believe.

1 John 5:7

7For there are three that testify:

1 John 5:10

10Whoever believes in the Son of God rhas the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God shas made him a liar, tbecause he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.

3 John 12

12Demetrius uhas received a good testimony from everyone, and from the truth itself. We also add our testimony, and vyou know that our testimony is true.
