John 1:29

Behold, the Lamb of God

29The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, athe Lamb of God, who btakes away the sin cof the world!

John 1:33-34

33I myself did not know him, but dhe who sent me to baptize ewith water said to me, ‘He on whom you see the Spirit descend and remain, fthis is he who baptizes gwith the Holy Spirit.’ 34And I have seen and have borne witness that this is the Son of God.”

John 3:27-36

27John answered, h“A person cannot receive even one thing iunless it is given him jfrom heaven. 28You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, kI am not the Christ, but lI have been sent before him.’ 29 mThe one who has the bride is the bridegroom. nThe friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, orejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. 30 pHe must increase, but I must decrease.”
Some interpreters hold that the quotation continues through verse 36

31 rHe who comes from above sis above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and tspeaks in an earthly way. uHe who comes from heaven vis above all. 32 wHe bears witness to what he has seen and heard, xyet no one receives his testimony. 33Whoever receives his testimony ysets his seal to this, zthat God is true. 34For he whom aaGod has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit abwithout measure. 35 acThe Father loves the Son and adhas given all things into his hand. 36 aeWhoever believes in the Son has eternal life; afwhoever does not obey the Son shall not agsee life, but the wrath of God remains on him.
