John 1:38

38 Jesus turned and saw them following and said to them, ^a“What are you seeking?” And they said to him, ^b“Rabbi” (which means Teacher), “where are you staying?”

John 1:41-42

41 He first found his own brother Simon and said to him, “We have found ^cthe Messiah” (which means Christ). 42 He brought him to Jesus. Jesus looked at him and said, “You are Simon the son of ^dJohn. You shall be called ^eCephas” (which means ^fPeter ^{▼▼ Cephas and Peter are from the word for rock in Aramaic and Greek, respectively}).

John 9:7

7 and said to him, “Go, wash in ^hthe pool of Siloam” (which means Sent). So he went and washed and ⁱcame back seeing.
