John 1:43-47

Jesus Calls Philip and Nathanael

43 aThe next day Jesus decided bto go to Galilee. He found Philip and said to him, Follow me.” 44Now cPhilip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. 45Philip found dNathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom eMoses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus fof Nazareth, gthe son of Joseph.” 46Nathanael said to him, hCan anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, Behold, ian Israelite indeed, jin whom there is no deceit!”

John 6:5-7

5 kLifting up his eyes, then, and seeing that a large crowd was coming toward him, Jesus said to lPhilip, Where are we to buy bread, so that these people may eat?” 6He said this to test him, for he himself knew what he would do. 7 mPhilip answered him, “Two hundred denarii
A  denarius was a day’s wage for a laborer
worth of bread would not be enough for each of them to get a little.”

John 14:8-9

8 oPhilip said to him, “Lord, pshow us the Father, and it is enough for us.” 9Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? qWhoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
