John 1:45-49

45 Philip found ^aNathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom ^bMoses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus ^cof Nazareth, ^dthe son of Joseph.” 46 Nathanael said to him, ^e“Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.” 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward him and said of him, “Behold, ^fan Israelite indeed, ^gin whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to him, “How ^hdo you know me?” Jesus answered him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered him, ⁱ“Rabbi, ^jyou are the Son of God! You are the ^kKing of Israel!”

John 17:8

8 For I have given them ^lthe words that you gave me, and they have received them and have come to know in truth that ^mI came from you; and ⁿthey have believed that you sent me.

Acts 17:11-12
